Mindy Davies, consultant
Mindy has fifteen years' leisure management experience. Her portfolio includes a number of Local Authority venues ranging from, community facilities, an indoor water park, an IAAF certified athletics stadium and more recently the largest leisure complex between Manchester and Birmingham. Her project management experience includes the opening of an £8m sports centre following a successful Lottery Application.
Mindy was seconded to Manchester 2002 for the Commonwealth Games as Pre-Games Events Co-ordinator and undertook the role of Venue Operations Manager for Table Tennis during 'Games Time'. She is also a volunteer with British Gymnastics as Floor Manager for Grand Prix and World Cup Events.
As a Consultant at Plan4Sport, Mindy brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience relating to the operation of leisure facilities, staff training and development and event management. Her skills are used to support sports clubs, voluntary organisations, governing bodies and Local Authorities who seek guidance through the process from funding application, staff training and ultimately the successful operation of their sports facilities.
