Danny Bowers, consultant
Danny is a Sports and Exercise Science graduate and is currently working towards a PhD in History and Sociology of Sport. He is also a part-time university lecturer in Sports History and Sociology, and undertakes sports research, including football.
He is a semi-professional football player for Stone Dominoes. Danny has worked at the football club, carrying out various duties ranging from painting fences and ground maintenance to Football Development Officer and School Liaison. He is also a Level 2 coach.
Danny is an experienced researcher and brings with him the core skills to develop projects that meet the population, health, sport and regeneration targets of the local community. His knowledge and understanding of strategic priorities, as well as his football-specific research, ensures that each project that Plan4Sport develops will satisfy funding criteria.
